Select Network on Motorola Krazor

Hope someone can help.

Friend has gone to States with Triband O2 Motorola Krazor (sp) mobile.

They are having problems selecting a network. Anyone any idea how this is done on this phone?

I assume that it's the Motorola KRZR?

There is a user manual available here.

According to that (P84)...

Menu > Settings > Network > Set Mode

Never actually played with one of those phones, so can't comment if it's correct.
