SEI Gas Boiler Upgrade and Controls etc Can anyone advise re. typical cost for this- quotes given range up to 3700! Any advice- what is involved- what does it involve? any companies recommended? Thanks

That price does seem excessive, but again it would all
depend on the type of boiler, is there any issues with the
changeover such as size of the gas line etc, and also on the
controls side what wiring needs to be done.......

Had one job recently where the flue had to be cored through 2.5ft of granite
but the customer could not understand the extra cost!

Where are you, and can see if I know anyone in that area
