I am seeking reduced hours for family/ medical reasons, have been working 3 days for years but now fulltime at employers request but find it too hardto manage. Won't grant 3 day again as no cover for other 2 days. Under pressure they are offering 5 mornings 20hrs. I would still prefer just 1 full day off but this won't happen. 20hrs won't pay the bills as I will still have to use creche for 5 days. Do I have to accept 20hrs when I would be willing to work 25 or 28 especially when there is no cover offered for afternoons. I am a pernament fulltime public servant with 15yrs service. anyone in same boat ?
