Securing work in UK as Electrician

Lads,I have a possibility of getting a job in England,how do I get my Irish electrician qualifications to UK standard? I really need info on this A.S.A.P.Thanks.

A friend of mine who lives and works in the UK recently did a course and passed his exams for registration as an electrician. He was certified by these people - www.niceic.com

The NICEIC is a register of electrical contractors, not electricians.
Electricians in the UK are graded by the JIB, you can get info [broken link removed]
Basically if you're qualified here it isn't normally a problem.
