I just got a new granite worktop on my island (which has the sink in it) and when the water is spilled onto the granite, it is soaking into the granite. when you wipe up the water, the marks go away. I rang the granite supplier who says this is normal, he has it in his own house and this is what happens blah blah blah. Is this normal? Or were they supposed to seal the granite when it was installed. Of course I paid him every penny...
