Seagulls - pests

Hi,

Moved into a new house last November and everything has been hunky dorey - until a few weeks ago!!

Myself and the wife have noticed that there appear to be about 6 -10 seagulls that habit the roofs of our street the last few weeks. They fly from one roof to another, sqwauking at a very loud pitch every time....its constant....the damn things don't seem to sleep.

My wifes parents came up from the country to stay with us for the w-e. They could only stay one night 'cos they couldn't get to sleep with the racket

Is there a specific question that you would like to ask about this issue?

Yes - must have saved it by mistake 'cos half the post is missing.

Wondering if anyone has had this prob before (loud and annoying seagulls) and if they were able to resolve it....its driving me insane

just wondered if you got your problem with the seagulls sorted out.. have heard of spikes that you put on chimney to prevent seagulls from nesting there.. we have the same problem but haven't done anything yet, so if you have any tips they will be much appreciated.
