i have been endeavouring without much success searching relevant websites (saas) whether an irish student intending to study in a scottish university is entitled to a grant byrelevant scottish authority. brief comment would be appreciated as i know i will be able to find out by contacting the authorities there

Would the Irish student not be entitled to a grant from his/ her local authority here in Ireland to study in Scotland ? If she is already resident in Scotland for a full twelve months before the start of the course and has not already been granted an award previously to study at the same level then one or another of the local authorities ( here or in Scotland ) would be liable for the payment of the grant.
