Scanning Software for office

Can anyone recommend any good scanning software for use in a networked office? It would need to be capable of handling multiple-page documents scanned to TIF files and would need to be able to handle insertions & deletions of pages within each file.

We have used a version of Unimessage Pro to date but after upgrading our systems the version we have no longer works. It will cost about €500 to replace the software and I just wanted to know if there are any better options out there?

I use PaperPort Pro 9 office from scansoft www.scansoft.com/
