Salary Paid in Vietnam

I currently work in Vietnam and my salary is paid in USD in to a Vietnamese bank account. My income tax is also currently paid in Vietnam. Every month I transfer funds into my Irish bank account in order to pay loans in Ireland. I am wondering if I am liable to pay tax in Ireland if I transfer funds into my Irish bank account regardless if I pay income tax in Vietnam. Any help appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Danny

Tax residency etc

Check out your tax residency at revenue website and navigate to 'taxes & duties', 'income tax', 'who pays?' (sorry I can't post the link as a new user).
There's also a link on that page to the res1 leaflet dealing with emigration situations. Ireland and Vietnam have a double-taxation treaty in force so presumably your income shouldn't get taxed twice.
