Does anyone know what would be an average salary for a community Childcare Manager managing 6 staff and 34 children at any one time. Taking 5 yrs exp and dip, and degree qualification. Thanks

The average salary in rural area is up to €15/hour which works out at approx. 30K per annum.
Salaries vary from service to service. Chat to your local county/city childcare - they will have a good idea of what the "going rate" in your county is.
In my experience, salaries in the private sector can be considerably lower as many have owner managers.
