S Staples Registered User Messages 786 23 Nov 2010 #1 My elderly Mother in Law has some money on deposit in Anglo and is worried to the extent that she intends withdrawing it all this week. A week ago, I'd have convinced her she's wrong but now I'm a bit less sure of my footing. Does she have any cause for concern? If not, any advice on what I might say to reassure her? C callybags Registered User Messages 917 23 Nov 2010 #2 I think if anything, deposits are now safer (not that I thought they were ever unsafe) The impression I get is that banks and deposits will be saved at all costs. Just my opinion, though.
