Ryanair 10kg carry on - possible to switch to checked in?

Hi All,

Tried with Ryanair chat but got a chat bot who didn't understand what I was asking.

We are travelling with Ryanair on Tuesday and have booked priority plus 2 x cabin bag. 10kg plus backpack/handbag; this was more expensive than travelling with a backpack and checking in the 10kg bag. I'm thinking now that it would have made more sense if we checked in the 10kg bags so we can bring toiletries/sunscreen etc. I don't want to pay for them twice so was just wondering if anyone has tried to check in their 10kg bag at the airport after booking them on board or if there is an extra charge for it, even though you are not taking any extra bags?

I managed to get through to a live person on chat after waiting a bit. Anyway it's not possible to change it without paying for another checked in bag which would cost €72. Just thought I would post the result in case it's a help to anyone else.
