Ros cert about to expire (Renew Now button)

My ROS cert is about to expire and i am shown a " Cert Renewal " form in ROS asking me to enter my old password and new password twice. I fill in the details and click the " Renew Now " button on the form and nothing happens. Is this a known issue whe using ie8 ? The " Renew Later " button works fine.:confused:

The info. i am putting in is accurate and i have waited the 5 mins that sometimes is needed with ROS but no go? Any ideas? I will try a few other browsers like firefox. I feel it's a bug with ROS .
 
OK in answer to my own query, Yes it is a bug in ROS when using ie8 (Internet Explorer 8) and a work-around is to use another browser eg. firefox.

Chance of the Public Service fixing the bug = None.
 
in some computers a java update is needed. if it does not work anyone can ring ros helpline and they will talk you through
