Roofing slates - cost to buy and lay

How much do Trutone slates cost to purchase - the cheapest I can get them around Galway is €1.45 incl VAT? I can get Supercem slates for €1.20 but I'm not sure of the quality of these slates. Also how much are slaters charging to lay them these days? Galway county area.

Trutone slates and Capco are same quality, tbh. You should be able to buy either, for Eur 1.20

Cost to lay I've been told, lately, is Eur 1.00 each.
