a frend died few month ago, he did have will after 2 month i was contactit by solicitor and send me £500 but when i ask to see the will, he refuse can anyone help if he is wrong or whrite.

Sounds strange but I think all wills are published or recorded in the probate office or somewhere and public can look them up for themselves if they choose.

Was the solicitor also the executor of the will, if not I would try to contact the executor of the will first, or can you talk to other of the deceased family discreetly.

Obviously Probate has been granted, so if the solicitor won't give you a copy of the will, take a trip to the Probate office (beside / near Four Courts), and there you will find the will, but make sure you have all the details of the deceased.
