Revenue have mixed up bank accounts

Hi
I discovered today that revenue seem to have me linked to the wrong name and bank account details for refunds. When I rang I was told that this happened a few years ago but I am only due one refund - should I just take their word for this or can anyone advise if I need to do anything. It appears that someone somewhere entered in details against my pps for another taxpayer - bit worrying!

Might want to get a print out of collections and laiblities for last few years as well to see what years refunds were in and whether you received the money

Also no harm to ring up and get figure for each year over phone as it could take months for them to deal with a query letter or it might just be ignored if no cheque with it to pay tax
