Hi I've just been offered a job and I am struggling as to whether I will actually be able to afford to take it and cover childcare etc and I just found out about this initiative. Can someone please help with figures for this? Just a rough idea would do
I'm separated from my husband so currently in receipt of lone parents - one child in college and other two younger. I've been offered a position for 30K full time. I think I'll be entitled to Family Income Supplement as well of approx 75 euro p.w. so this would be taxable.
How much take home pay if I use revenue assist? Also - its likely that i will receive pay rise in six months and if not may move jobs so would it make sense to wait and claim this in 2013 ?
Any help would be really appreciated as I really want to get back into the workforce but cost of childcare and travel seems prohibitive but the salary may increase over time so I'm trying to weigh it all up. Thanks so much
