Return to college electrician and funding it

Can anyone suggest what a qualified electrician could do workwise part time/ weekends to help fund a degree he's been accepted onto for the next three years?

Being older (not necessarily wiser) he has a few bills to pay, should qualify for the maintenance grant but needs to 'top this up'.

So ideas welcome, every little would help here....

Could you start an electrican company which specialises in evening and weekend work, i.e. "we understand you work during the day, so we'll come to you when you're finished work".

If you set up a website, added it as a signature, and posted on forums like boards.ie offering general electrical advice/whatever, you might be able to develop a name for yourself.
