I recently bought a leather Chesterfield sofa and two button back library chairs at an auction. While the chairs are in reasonably good condition (leather perfect but some buttons missing on the seats), the Chesterfield has a lot of wear and some tears on the arms of the sofa.
Does anyone know if it is possible to repair the arms of the sofa, or should I reupholster the whole thing?
Any advice, recommendations or war stories appreciated!
There is Cover All in Newcastle West. they do that kind of thing. sorry don't have a number, in the golden pages no doubt. they probably are good for an idea on pricing if too far to travel.
I'm not connected in any way to Cover All, just know they are in this business.
