Z z106 Guest 29 Aug 2008 #1 Anyone know of a restaurant like rolys - but not rolys. When I say like rolys i mean menu-wise. Basically - not asian or italian food or anything like that. My mother is in dublin for the weekend and she wouldn't eat anything like that. Rolys woudl be more traditional i guess. Not sure if i'm explaining my point well here.

T truthseeker Registered User Messages 2,577 29 Aug 2008 #2 If she'd be into a steak you could try FXBs - the one on Pembrooke St does a lovely steak dinner, nice athmosphere etc... If she's not into steak it might not be a good plan though. What about Shanahans on the Green?
