Residential Tenancies Act?

In the residential tenancies act it states that security of tenure is based on 4 year cycles. My question is if the tenant stays in the house for 4 years and then wants to stay on longer because it is the start of a new cycle can the landlord terminate the tenancy without giving a reason for the first 6 months of the new cycle?

Hi

i believe that once the 4 year cycle is up,then the tenancy has to be re registered even if no change of tenant and that it is treated as a new tenancy. Therefore the 6 month rule applies again.
