Reporting Irish domiciled ETFs in Form 11

I purchased some ETFs last year. Most were domiciled in Ireland. One was domiciled in Luxembourg.
I'm assuming that I only need to declare the Luxembourg domiciled ETF in the "Offshore Funds (Part 27 Ch4)" section of Form 11.
Is that correct? Or do I also need to declare the Irish-domiciled EFTs (note, I bought them through a broker in another EU country)?

The Irish domiciled ETF are responsible for deducting the Exit Tax (on disposal or deemed disposal) so I think that if this is confirmed, then there is no need to report them.

Although, it is not clear how they can do this, as they may not know the identity and tax status of the purchaser if the purchaser uses a foreign broker eg Degiro

Hi JPD,
I don't believe that is correct. I expect that I will have to declare and pay the exit tax on the Irish domiciled ETFs as well when I sell them (or after 8 years). My question just relates to the year of purchase. I.e. do I need to inform Revenue that I purchased Irish domiciled ETFs?

yes you should declare all ETF purchased in your tax return, then on 8th anniversary you pay tax, nothing is deducted by the ETF provider, unless you are not buying them direct but instead as part of a product from an Insurance provider.

But where do I declare the purchase of the Irish-domiciled ETFs?
Should I include them under the "offshore funds (Part 27 Ch4)" section of Form 11 even though they're not technically offshore as I understand it?

Irish ETFs are not responsible for deducting tax if their units are held through a recognised clearing system, which is normally the case.

Is it section 322 ? Regulated offshore funds in the EU or EEA.... acquisitions in section E-H for each purchase

I believe Irish domiciled ETFs are not needed to be reported to Revenue upon purchasing, at least that was how it’s written in Revenue’s ETF guidelines PDF, is that changed?

Any clarity on where on the Form 11 to declare purchases of Irish domiciled ETFs or if its not required?

I never got clarity. So I just included the Irish domiciled ones along with the non-Irish domiciled one in the "Offshore Funds" section. I thought it was safer to provide extra detail rather than too little.
