Replacing 5ft fluorescent with new fitting

I have a 5ft and a 4ft fluorescent fitting's in my kitchen and I want to replace them with something more modern. both are hardwired. The new fittings would have to give out the same amount of light approx. Dont want anything mad expensive but low energy if possible. any ideas?

Try ebay/internet from Germany or Italy. eg



BTW 'T5' is the new 15mm tube diameter and 'EVG' is German for an 'electronic balast'. Some of the results are for a fish tank light, but you get the idea.
