Renting out PPR and tax

Hi,

I started renting out what was my PPR in 2009.
Registered with PRTB, paid NPPR, changed insurance.
What I didn't do was inform my bank as I don't want to lose my tracker.

Now I am looking to complete my taxes for the year - but I don't have a mortgage statement for this year (long story)

Do I need this to complete tax return? (obviously I want to claim the 75% interest)

Or can I work it out? I have all my previous mortgage statements - I know what current rate of interest I am on - could I extrapolate it or who I need to show my mortgage statement>

THanks,

Rob

I must be missing something here. Are you afraid you will lose your tracker mortgage if you ask for a mortgage statement??
Bank will confirm interest charged for the year over the phone for you and send out a statement thereafter - I don't see the big problem in getting the actual figure!

Interest that qualifies is interest paid, not estimated or extrapolated.
