P Protocol Guest 5 Oct 2004 #2 tax relief on rent paid Submit the form as soon as you can. You get tax relief at 20% of rent paid, up to a limit of 254 tax credit. i.e. tax relief is just on rent up to 1270. So you will get 20% of 1140 = 228 tax credit A new Tax Credit cert should issue to you and your employer, then your take-home pay should rise.
