I have just recently found out I'm 12 weeks pregnant and in full time employment. I am renting an apartment at the moment but the lease is due to expire in January. My contract on the job also expires in January as the hotel I am working in will close. As I am on my own, just recently seperated, will I be entitled to any help with re-renting as I will be un-employed? If anyone can give me advice on this and who do I need to speak too reference rent allowance?

AFAIK Community Welfare Officer. Good luck with it.

Yes, as dontaskme said, contact the Community Welfare Officer at the local health centre where you can get information and application forms for Rent Supplement.

You should also sign for Jobseeker's when you become unemployed - contact the local Social Welfare Office.
