mrs majee wants to get the back boiler removed. tis a fairly old house and I'm afraid half the wall will come away with it. I presume you have to drain your whole water system. has anyone removed one in the recent past? I'm guessing I'd have to leave it to a professional rather than attempt it myself.
I think you are mad getting rid of the back boiler. We were going to remove one in our rented house but my husband decided against it. It has been the selling point in renting. Our tenents have hot water and central heating through the open fire and very rarely use oil. I think in the current economic climate back boilers will make a come back. Think seriously about it.
