Removing an ESB Box

Looking to put a driveway in the house but there's an ESB box on the path right where we want the driveway (not to mention the lamp post)!
Only started thinking about moving it so has anyone had any experience in getting the ESB to move one of these boxes?

Good luck is all i can say.

I had a problem with an ESB box in my garden. They came and cut down half my garden to clear a path to the box without telling me and the debris is still in my garden !!

I complained over and over and over.

Eventually I went to ELCOM the 'independent' arbitrator.............completely funded by ESB.

ESB will be hard to reason with and will not take any logical decision or argument. They will barage you with SILENCE...

I would suggest talking to ELCOM in Merrion Square. They seem to have a lot of time on their hands but no real power...but may be able to help you out or offer some suggestions.
