I bought Microsoft Home and Student 2007 because I wanted Microsoft Excel. There is Micorsoft Works 2000 on my computer. Is it alright to remove Microsoft Works 2000 from my Computer?
Yes if you don't plan on using Works and plan on using Office then remove it. You can remove the application by clicking on the Start button, Control Panel, and when in Control Panel click on the icon Add\Remove Program, select Works then click on the Change\Remove button.
Thanks for those replies. It is working fine. It is just that the computer is working slowly. I just wanted to make sure it was alright to remove it. It is the second highest package on the computer.
Removing files from the disk won't help much, unless the disk is very full (say more than 90%). It's more likely you're running out of memory or you have too many things running and this is hogging the CPU.
