Hi there,
just looking for a bit of advise on taking out my kitchen island. Bad idea getting it in the first place as the kitchen is too small. It has a granite top and is probably worth something. Is the buy and sell the my best option?
thanks

donedeal.ie (€3 4 ad) adverts.ie (free 4 ad). of course you could always jumbletown it where you give the item away for free and to place the add is free.

Have seen quite a few kitchen islands for sale over the few months (new baby) and always hard to sell or buy one as different kitchen types and sizes. Remember also an item is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay, regardless of what you paid for it especially if you purchased the item at the height of the market.

thanks Sandals,
had a look at done deal site and that should do the trick. Hopefully the granite will attract a buyer.

goodpoint corkgal, hadnt thought of that but looks like island came after floor, had a friend remove built in fitted wardrobes that they were goin to put on another wall, placing bed on the old wall and they never dreamt carpet didnt run under wardrobes......

most of the islands are just laid on the floor,it should be tiled underneath it.go rid of oursand opened up the whole kitchen

unfortunately the wooden floors were put in after the kitchen. So it is a bit of a headache, but we kept some wood from the floors so at least that is something... live and learn...
