Look I am certainly not going to become the one and only person defending the banks on this Tracker thing. What they did was naughty. But jayz the Ophelia style furore has gone way OTT

Compare that with the pathetic Brian style reaction to the Endowment Mortgage fiasco. Also compare our regulatory approach on this front to that in the UK.
 
To continue your storm analogy.. . Storm Brian took out a fair few trees that would still be standing if Ophelia hadn't softened them up.
