Relocating to work in Dubai

Hi ALL
I am currently reviewing job opportunities in the area of HR/Recruitment in DUBAI and finding it quite difficult to find suitable vacancies! If anyone has any advice on the best way to find Good Jobs out there (that provide good benefits re: car, accomodation, etc.), it would be much appreciated! Any advice at all about Dubai would be great. I am familiar with Bahrain so I am used to the culture which would be more liberal in areas than Bahrain.

I am reluctant to contact agencies as I feel my application would be more attractive than having a fee attached to it (by an agency should the CV go through them!) - but does anyone think this would be beneficial to contact them!!

I know of 2 people there now. Both settling a lot easier than they expected.

COnstruction is huge there so H within a const firm could be a good option to look into.
 
thanks monkeyboy - any you could recommend me looking at - the majority of my experience is actually in construction recruitment. thanks
