Relief for overseas dental work

Does anyone know if it is possible to claim tax relief for dental work if a person goes overseas to have it?

Yes it is possible to claim tax relief on dental work done abroad. The same rules apply

Thank you Balck Sheep. I went onto the Revenue.ie website and while it said no relief for extractions I could not find anything relating to overseas work.

Hi,
if you ring Revenue they will or should confirm you can claim back on the Med 2 form.
When you say abroad is it within the EU ? Because I think you need to be within the EU
