I've recently become rather interested in learning about the the possibility of investing in real estate and as such have been attempting to absorb as much as I can from as many sources as I can get my hands on over the last few weeks.
Many of the quality sources I have found however seem to be disposed towards dealing with property investment in America however and I would assume are of limited use to a budding property investor in Ireland.
A recurring theme that I have noticed during my research is that people seem to regard 'Real Estate Investment Clubs' as being very useful, especially when building people networks and attempting to locate properties which are under-valued.
Do similar club meetings occur in Ireland and if so how would I go about visiting one? If not, how would people recommend I should go about attaining a solid knowledge base with respect to the property investment situation in Ireland?
fwiw I ran a few searches of this site and came up empty. Obviously the FAQ threads are very helpful also.
