I've been looking for a low cost way to invest regularly (monthly) in trackers or ETFs. The best deal I could find for Irish based investors is Quinn-Life who allow you to invest regularly and only charge an annual management fee of between 1% and 1.5% on their tracker funds. However, this is quite expensive when compared internationally - see for ex Motley Fool UK Sharebuilder service which allows you to invest regularly in similar trackers/etfs for annual costs of only around 0.4% (plus a small levy of £1.5 per trade). Unfortunately this service is only available to UK investors. While the cost difference seems to be small, over a number of years the loss of compounding potential can have huge impact on the value of your investment. Does anybody know of any service available to Irish investors that allows truly low cost regular investing in such funds?
