Register business name

Hi, I was wondering if someone could tell me about registering a business name. a name i want to use, i am able to find on the cro.ie website, but the company is currently liquidated since 2011.

i wasn't on the board of that company and had nothing to do with it.

I am still able to register that name?
 
Contact a company formation company and ask them. We use ICC . No affilations.
 
Cheers, spoke to them and they were very helpful.
 
100 people can have the same business name (RBN), it offers nothing to protect the name.

A company name is different, I believe each company name has to be unique.
