Refrigeration engineer question?

Hi folks,i have a question regarding training as a refrigeration engineer.I am a electrician and am concidering retraining as a refrigeration engineer.I know alot of the course work in phase 4/6 is similar and just want to know if i would have to serve the full 4 year apprenticeship again or would i be entitled to serve a shorter apprenticeship?

I'm a fridge man myself, Fas used to do a recertification course which let you do the last year to requalify, i know as an employer i would take a sparks who has requalified over a qualified fridgey.
