am hoping for some information. i am currently on maternity leave
but was informed about a week ago that there is no job for me to go
back to. the reason given is this: i worked at a aircraft maintnance
facility and i was doing the data entry and final release papers for
once airline only, but sadly there are no aircraft between
December and next May, so there is no work for me when i am supposed
to come back on the 2nd of December. the problem is that i was
employed through an agency so i don't know what, if any, rights i have
regarding my accumulated holidays while i was out on maternity leave.
i know i don't have a leg to stand on about redundancy payment or
doing a different job with them, but i don't know about the holiday
pay. i started working for them on the 29th of January 2007 and was on
continuous placement at the maintenance facility since then. am i entitled to
get my holidays back paid or do i end up simply losing out?
