Redundancy where employees take over company

I was thinking about a situation where a company was being bought by an employee of that company would that employee have a claim for Redundancy?

The employee would be continuing on with their tasks but, would have many more tasks to do.

Therefore it could be seen as the old position being replaced by another that has many more skills required.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Know of any good reference material on this topic?

The employee would continue on at the company but with a different job? The person "replacing" the original employee doing X tasks would actually be the same employee doing XYZ tasks?????

Then, no - redundancy would, unsurprisingly, not be applicable in this context.
