Hi, putting in redundancy payments on form 11 online. Am going to paye section and putting redundancy in under other payments received on commencement/cessation. When i put in gross amount say 100000 and then taxable amount of 5000, the 5000 is not included in the calculation of tax. AM I PUTTING IT IN THE WRONG PLACE.

When redundancy was taxed it was taxed at 41% emergency tax. However when added to other income for year and job seekers the average rate of tax is lower. WHAT RATE IS USED WHEN CALCULATING TOP SLICING.
