HI All,
Ive been working for my company for the past 7 years. The first 4 years were full time and the last 3 years are at part time (regular in that i get the same hours/pay every week). Ive been given my notice to finish is at the 30th April 07. However, my company have offered me full time employment for my last 6 wks working there as its winding down but is still quite busy.
So, Is my redundancy calculated on my part time salary or my full time? I rang the redundancy act section and they said its on the full time rate as we both will have agreed to increase my hours and accepted that the full time hours are my "normal working week"
I can not find any information when you agree to increase your hours, but only information on if the company puts you on short time or reduced hours and if you do agree then you get it at the part time rate but if you dont agree you get it at the full time rate..
any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
