Hi folks,
I'm just wondering, about the reduction in J.A. for under 20 year olds, and also the reduction to E100, for a qualified adult dependent.
Is this not discrimination, on the basis of age only, as same person, would have to pay full tax and prsi, if they were working.
If we are legally declared adult, at eighteen, then it should follow, that after 18 years of age, you should have the same entitelments, as any other adult.
Maybe this is not the correct forum for this topic, but I definately think the Government is descriminating, on the basis of age, and that's illegal, is'nt it.
You can imagine, the furore, if they said that anyone over say, 55 years of age, should not get the full amount. Everyone would say, THAT'S descrimination.
If anyone has any thoughts on this, please share your wisdom
