Not being computer literate to any great extent, I have a small problem and am looking for a recommendation.
I gave an 5 year old Compaq computer to daughter who is in college in Sligo, for her college work. As she wishes to connect to the college network, it needed a lan card which I put in. All the setting and addresses were changed to recognise the lan connection etc etc. But it still does not work. I am based in Dublin and finding it difficult to help her over the phone, even if I was in front of the computer, I probably would not be able to fix the problem.
Any one know of someone who would do a small job/nixer in the Sligo town area????
