Recommendation for a few days away in April

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a nice spot for 4/5 nights (first week in April) for a young couple? Not looking for a Euro city but perhaps a coastal resort in Spain, Portugal, Italy, South France etc or slightly further if required. chance of sunshine would be a big plus.

Just need to chill out for a few days!!

ryanair has a sale on now for march/april. www.ryanair.ie have a look and just see what comes up cheap. if you intend to travel over easter, it will proberly be slightly more expensive.

Fly into Faro. Hire a car from Luz Cars(great prices). Drive west for an hour and a quarter to a little coastal village called Burgau. Check out the website burgau.co.uk for accomodation. It has the peace and tranquility you are looking for. Typical (unruined) fishing village with whitewashed houses and winding streets leading down to the sea. Some lovely restaurants. There are some lovely apartments (converted fishermens cottages) in the heart of the village if you want something special. then explore other villages west out to the most westerly tip of mainland Europe . It is just beautiful. The beaches are awsome and you would have a very romantic few days. Oh to be young again!!!!!
