Hey all,
Can anyone recommend a tradesperson who you have used/know that could fix squeaking floorboards? We have pulled up the carpet upstairs and made sure they are screwed down to the joists and even had underlay fitted then to try and 'mask' the noise but it hasn't helped. The problem is on the landing and majority of our bedroom. Squeaking in most parts but banging in some. I don't know if the joists could be the issue here...
Driving us both crazy at this stage :mad: - house is only 2 years old so don't know if it's a common issue when house starts to settle.
Any info appreciated! Am based in Clane in Kildare.
