Oh, I'm on a gardening bender at the moment! My poor (little, apx. 2 x 1m) pond is in a very sorry state. I built it myself (with a lot of help from himself) several years ago but its never looked terribly well - visible pond liner, completely failed mini-waterfall feature, visible retaining wall (its in a raised bed).
Anyway, I'm looking to hire someone who can revamp the pond and make it worthy of being the garden centrepiece I had oringinally intended it to be.
I've had a couple of guys call out, one seemed pretty flaky and vague - did outline a quote but wouldn't be pinned down on a fixed price and was pushing changes to the garden than I didn't necessarily want. The other quoted but then withdrew as he got a bigger job (what recession?).
Can anyone recommend someone to do such a job (and any idea of how much it might cost)?
