Recommend Letting Agency - Waterford City

Hi,

Any recommendations for a good letting agency in Waterford City, first time reniting out a house so a bit nervous starting off.

I can't speak of Waterford (I live in Galway) but my experience is that you should rent it yourself.

You get to check the tenants for yourself and you don't throw money at an agency.
 
Thanks for your reply, not getting good feedback about agencys in general, so where would you start in relation to drawing up lease contracts? is there samples you can tailor to meet your own requirments?

I would agree with hillsalt and not use an agent for this it’s a waste of money. Judge the tenants for yourself and get references, Your solicitor will provide lease and charge about 150 euros, make inventory and add it to lease with any conditions you require, fill out PTRB form, change over ESB and bills and that’s about it. Agents are just interested in the money side and don't always operate in the landlords best interest.
Have I forgotten anything?
