Recommend insurance company for rental property

Hi,

Looking for recommendations of where to get cheap house insurance for rental property - first time letting out house and I'm swamped with bills for it.
Becoming a landlord is certainly not worth it financially or mentally! Unfortunately have no choice but to go down this route.

Any help appreciated,

I used 123.ie . Around E350 for the year for a rental house. About as cheap as I could find.

You really need to price around. I have used 123.ie in the past but they seem to have incresed there prices this year by about 30 to 40%. I have recently changed to Allianz. Paid €284 for a house in Galway with a rebuilding cost of €160,000. 123.ie were looking for €340. It can be all done on line anyway, so you can check different companies for quotes. It seems to me that there will always be one or two companies each year looking to bring in new business and they will be under cutting the others.
