Have you considered a slate floor? Very serviceable and non-slip. Soaks up the light though.

You might want to match it with your other floor materials.

Our kitchen colour scheme is similar to yours, with beech worktops, light green walls (don't know exact shade as it was done three years+ ago) and cream tiles to match the cupboard doors. We think it looks great.
