Reasonable painting quote?

yeah especially if you want to hand out 200 euro per day per person for someone holding a brush. that equates to 50k per year . great wages for doing what they do

Hubby is painter and says that your quote is far too expensive as you are not getting the doors and skirtings done. You should ensure that any painter is going to do the prep work i.e. fill and sand cracks, fill gaps between skirtings and walls etc. Will they remove curtain poles and refit them (hubby always does this - makes for a much better job)

Hubby spends a lot of time repairing work already done by other "painters" - so be careful who you employ. Get references, any decent painter will have them.
